Ben & Joana
Ben and Joana wrote to me two days before their wedding. They are Austrian, and getting married in Austria is not so easy, so while they were in New York they decided to see if they could book an appointment and make it official here.
We spent three and a half hours walking around the city: the ceremony at the Office of the City Clerk, the steps outside, a slice at the most famous pizzeria in New York, Joe's Pizza, then the Oculus and the Old Friend photobooth on the Lower East Side. Along the way I also filmed a short wedding video for them, four and a half minutes they can keep next to the photographs.
It never felt like an appointment. It felt like friends walking around the city creating something magical, and I loved every minute of the shoot and of editing the photos afterwards.
The Film
The full wedding film from the day, start to finish.
"Such an incredible experience! Dylan made our wedding day even more special. We instantly connected with him, which made us feel completely at ease, and he effortlessly captured the magic and emotion of one of the most important days of our lives.
He was also our witness, which meant so much to us. Dylan was reliable, punctual, and went above and beyond in ways we never expected. His enthusiasm was contagious and made the entire experience so much fun.
Looking through our photos lets us relive every emotion from that day. His talent, professionalism, and genuine care truly set him apart. We couldn’t recommend Dylan more highly for weddings or any special occasion. Thank you for everything, we’re forever grateful!"
