Nicole & Ryan
I have wanted to shoot inside the Met since I arrived in New York. Nicole and Ryan said yes to it, so we finally did it.
We photographed them the way you actually move through the building: walking, stopping in front of something, walking again.
We started in the Great Hall and worked through the painting galleries, then into the sculpture court where the light is soft and grey. The rooms change character every few steps, which meant a completely different frame every time we turned a corner.
We finished at the tall glass wall, with the park outside and the light coming right across the floor.
"We had an amazing experience with Dylan! My husband and I booked a photo shoot at the Met, and everything was seamless from start to finish. Dylan was professional, easy to communicate with, and made us feel comfortable right away.
His knowledge of the Met really stood out. He knew the best spots for beautiful backdrops, interesting artwork, and the best lighting, which made the whole experience feel effortless. He gave us simple direction that made posing feel easy and natural, and he captured moments that felt genuinely like us.
The photos were delivered so quickly, and we were so happy with how they turned out. The quality is incredible, and we’ll treasure them for years to come.
We’ll definitely book with Dylan again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a talented photographer who makes the whole experience enjoyable and effortless."
