A 30-minute session gives you one outfit at one location and five edited images. A 60-minute session gets you two outfits, one or two locations, and twelve edited images. Most people book the hour, because the second outfit gives you one photo for LinkedIn and a softer one for a bio page or a speaker profile.

Both work, and the price is the same. The studio gives you a clean, consistent background that sits well next to the rest of your team on a company page. Shooting outside gives you natural light and a bit of New York behind you, which suits founders, creatives, and anyone whose photo should look less corporate. Solid colours in fabrics that hold their shape, and necklines you already wear to work. Loud patterns pull attention away from your face, and brand new clothes you have not worn yet tend to sit awkwardly. My rule is that I remove what is temporary and leave what is permanent. A spot or a patch of redness from that morning gets cleaned up. Freckles, moles, and scars stay. Skin tones stay natural and nothing gets smoothed into plastic, because you should still look like yourself when you walk into the room. The whole process is written up in how I edit headshots.

Almost everyone says this before a session. The fix is not a magic pose, it is direction. I tell you what to do with your hands, your chin, and your weight, and I keep talking so you are not sitting in silence waiting to be judged. You will see a few frames on the back of the camera early on, so you know it is going well before the session is over.

Generally within five to seven business days and always within 14. If you have a deadline, say so when you book and rush delivery can be arranged. You get high-resolution JPGs in a private online gallery you can download and share, sized for print as well as LinkedIn and your company site. Raw files are not included.

On-site sessions start at $1,000 for up to 10 people and $3,000 for up to 30, and new hires can be added later at $250 per person so they match the rest.
