Dianna told me their Tribeca apartment had big windows and nice light. She was underselling it. We started at home with Dianna, Herman and their five-month-old, and the two dogs found their way into plenty of the frames.
The light in that apartment is amazing. We moved from room to room and let the windows set the mood, from the sofa to the soft green room to the long white hallway.
Then we headed out for a walk around Tribeca, baby in the stroller in a bright red hat, stopping for the doorways and brick facades along the way. A family at home, then out the door into their own neighborhood: it is one of my favorite ways to spend a session.
