Late afternoon in August, Central Park, the sun already low and coming through the trees sideways. That light lasts about forty minutes and then it is gone, so we kept moving and shot the whole first half inside it.
Under the arcade they put in a pair of wired earbuds, one each, and listened to something together. Nobody has wired earbuds any more. That is my favourite picture from the day, and I did not ask for it.
Then down to the Lake for the last of the sun, a rowboat going past, the towers on the far side. We finished up on Central Park West among the townhouses, where cabs kept cutting through the frame until I stopped waiting them out and started using them.
