Sydney and Braden took their engagement photos in Central Park on a Saturday in September. We moved between the Cherry Hill fountain, the edge of the Lake under the twin towers of the San Remo, Bow Bridge, and the tiled arcade beneath Bethesda Terrace.
Central Park has been photographed a million times, so the landmarks are the easy part. What I care about is what happens between them: a hand on a shoulder, a look back halfway up the steps, the walk to the next spot.
They wore white and olive, which sat quietly against all that green and stone and let the park do the rest.
